You can move the area of the map that is displayed by
using the Pan control.

When selected, the cursor
changes into a hand icon and you can position it onto the map and drag it to
move the map view in the direction of your choosing.

Note: You can Pan by
holding down the middle mouse button and dragging the mouse. You can use the
mouse wheel to zoom in and out.
